Though I swear this time it really isn't my fault. The rear bearings (yeah that's probably not the right way to spell that, but it's just gonna have to do) on the red car blew.
And I do mean, they blew out. There was very little brake pad left and the bearings were so bad that brake fluid was streaming from them.
I realize that this post comes well after Christmas. But the truth is that I am one of those creatures that records many videos and then take a full day, days, or week editing and scheduling them out and this just happens to fall so far past Christmas based on what I had recorded first.
I know that no one is thinking about Christmas now in April, but maybe we should be. That way we can start thinking of what to get our kids throughout the entire year instead of at the last minute.
I say that when I am SOOOOO guilty of waiting until the last minute.
When Skye was little, we spent Christmas Eve at my mom's house. As she got older and I reconnected with old friends, we started spending Christmas Eve with my good friend Angel.
Angel had a tradition of everyone getting a new set of pajamas and a movie on Christmas Eve. Everyone would change into their new pajamas and then we would start a movie marathon, taking turns watching everyone's new movies, until it was time for everyone to head to bed for Santa.
Last year, we followed the same tradition with pajamas and movies. After learning that the Big Guy's kids didn't have a DVD player at home at the time (after they opened their gifts), we decided to forgo the movies this year and just did pajamas for everyone.
Well, when I do something, I do it right and no one can argue that point.
This day was no different.
I still haven't figured out how I managed to fall down the stairs. Was I rushing too fast down the stairs? Did I misjudge and miss a step on the way down? Did I trip over my pants or my own feet? I still have no clue which was the culprit.
What are unpapertowels, you ask? They are reusable towels that you would then wash and reuse again and again, instead of using one time use paper towels.
These ones I have had now for roughly 4 years now, I believe. I don't usually buy paper towels from the store, instead I use these. If they are soiled with something yucky or gross (example dog vomit), I put them in the bin with my reusable maxi pads so they get an extra rinse out before actually washing them.
I do run all my towels through a rinse & spin cycle before I run them through a regular wash. I have my machine set to automatically determine the water level, but to have an extra rinse during the cycle. This way, the towels that may be used to clean up something a little gross (example dog urine accident) and don't contaminate the rest of the good load by not coming completely out of the towel. Hopefully, that makes sense as its the best way my brain is able to explain it right now. If not, let me know in the comments what I need to clear up for you.
Apple had 6 babies, though 1 was born dead. 4 of them are black at the head and charcoal gray at the bum end. 1 kitty is white, with 2 black patches on its face and a black and gray striped tail.
We weren't sure what to expect from this babies, but boy were we surprised.
