Molly's babies are getting bigger and bigger. We have temporarily named the babies as Ick and Gremlin. Ick because of the nasty goop that likes to come out his/her (not sure which at this point) eyes and Gremlin, well because she looks like a Gremlin. Or a baby Yoda. Either way, they are growing.
I have wanted one of these babies for so long that I was very excited when it finally arrived.
I admit that I am, at best, still a novice sewer (is that the right word? It looks a little funny to me), but there are some materials, like knits, that I have steered away from simply because I didn't have a way to finish the seams.
Now that is gone and I am playing around like a fool. Watch for upcoming videos on me making more stuff with fabric. Yes, I am a dork. Its ok, I embrace my dorky side.
Jack is a weird cat. He spends a lot of time in the cage, which we know sucks, but his personality tendencies are more destructive than the rest of the cats.
He wants to fight with the other cats, which means we have issues with abscesses from the fighting, and he also likes to spray, which means the apartment and everyone's stuff ends of smelling like cat pee. No Bueno.
So while he is in the cage a good portion of the day, he is not hurting other cats by attacking them and he is not spraying every item that was left out, including the couch, walls, any fabric item left out by accident, you name it. We do want to get him fixed, which will help eliminate some of these issues, and then he can be out full time again. Until then, we make do with what we have.
Jack is quirky and has weird tendencies. I mean, how many other cats drink water by putting their paws in the bowl and taking the water from their paw. I have never seen a cat that cleans its paws in water either. The majority of the cats we have are not water fans. Well, all of our cats are not fans of water, but Jack is different.
I know how boring watching a haul can be, but I always love seeing this arrive every month. Sometimes I chose the item that I want, while other times, I have it be a surprise. With my Fibro Fog brain, I can't always remember if I picked an item or let it be a surprise. Which in that case, would mean it was always a surprise.
Oh how my funny brain works these days. The items that I receive are eco friendly green products meant to help reduce waste in a household.
Our apartment may not be huge, but it is full of love. Love of our pets, children, and friends.
This day, Molly gave us two precious babies to grow our love more. Not to mention, fate having a little fun with us.
See, this is Molly's 4th litter.
Apple and Pudge were the first litter.
Apple and Pudge each had a little of almost all black kittens.
Lily, Boss, and Mao were the second.
We suspect Mao is pregnant right now, but Lily hasn't had any babies yet.
Chunk was her third, and also a surprise.
She is too young yet.
Now these two rolly polly babies are her 4th.
I say this with a giggle because before Apple & Pudge had their two litters, none of the cats were solid black, so we thought we were safe. Solid black cats are my absolute favorite cats. So the Big Guy told us we were only going to keep 1 cat from all the litters, but only if it is solid black.
Guess what.....all the kittens born since then have all been solid black. Well played, Karma, well played.
Have I mentioned before that I can be a big dork? If not, then I'm telling you now. I love organizers, love things having a home to go to, and love being organized. What I don't enjoy? The time it takes to get organized, but who doesn't. The process of getting organized is very soothing to me. It doesn't really take too much time either. I had these done in just a few days from getting them all in binders, to creating the spread sheet for the movies.
You can find the binders I used Here: I do earn a little money off this link so thank you for helping to support my family.
I ordered the cd holders from Here: I do not receive anything for ordering this product with or without the link provided.
I wouldn't say that our apartment is small, but it is small when it comes to storage spaces. It is not always easy to find ways to organize around a lack of extra closet or linen space.
It isn't always easy to predict what will be the best options for the apartment. That means that I will try one thing for a while and if I find that isn't the best option, I will try another for a while.
Back when I first moved to Tennessee, the first Christmas I was here we did baskets of personal hygiene items for each of the kids. It made them feel special and helped them to understand the concept of personal hygiene. The bad thing was that we were storing the bins in our entry closet so most of the time the kids would get in the shower and forget to get their bins first.
This option means they still need at least a foot stool to get the bins, but now they are already in the bathroom. It also means they have a safe place to put anything they don't want the other kids messing with.
I realize that you are watching this video months after I filmed it. For all you know, I have grown bored and have changed everything again.
For me, I am still enjoying the newly organized kitchen area. Big Guy new that I wanted a shelving unit to help with giving me extra storage. That was what I wanted for Christmas, so when tax time rolled around, I got my Christmas present.
See how I utilize my Christmas present in this video:
