I don't know about anyone else, but I have always called these bruises pressure bruises. I usually get them around my wrists when I carry too many grocery bags up at one time, but I'm not sure where these ones came from.

We did save some fireworks for the real 4th of July and did get some footage of the local fireworks going on around us.

Well, I will admit that I went a little crazy with my step son's 17th birthday cake, but you only turn 17 once after all.
His favorite cake was strawberry, so I had to add that. I couldn't ignore the other types of cake so I made 3 kinds. His cake included strawberry, yellow, and chocolate cakes. I made strawberry butter cream to go in between the layers, and frosted the entire cake with sweetened whipped cream that I also made. Then I topped it with some sliced strawberries.

We tried to do 4th of July a little differently this year. We got the kids each of their own fireworks to light off, so we did those today (which is actually the 3rd of July).
We did get some good shots along with some things not to do again.

So, this morning was interesting.
We were a little surprised to see a little wiggle worm on the couch this morning. It took a few minutes for us to realize that Pudge had a baby while we were sleeping.

I think its because I am always so warm. That explains why all the cats just love to lay on me. I am their own personal heating pad.
You can also tell what kind of a day I am having, health wise, by the number of pets that are attached to my butt. The more that are attached, the worse my day is, or the higher my pain level is.

It's Father's Day weekend here in the United States.
For something a little special, we took all the kids to the local water park.
We wore them out, well that was the plan anyway.

Look at those cute little faces. You can almost see the brains working behind their eyes.
They are definitely spunky.

Cirkul is a replacement for just plain water.
You get a wide range of flavors, some with caffeine, some with electrolytes. and others with no added sugar.
Either way, it is a change of pace for those people that dislike plain water (like the Big Guy).
We don't always go through our cartridges fast so I don't place an order every month, but I certainly want to share the ones we do order.

All of those squirmy kittens, and my goodness, have they started to figure out how to escape the crate.

We ran across these beauties as I was taking Skye to school. They were in the field next to the building.
They were beautiful.

The little buggers are starting to move around more and more.
They have gone from barely crawling to moving around easily and freely.

This year I am so proud of myself. I was happy that I finished my Dad shirts before father's day. Some years it just seems to pop up on me too quickly to do anything productive.
It's a process. It starts with creating what I want using my Cricut and design space. It takes time to get everything arranged just right.
Then, you have to use the Cricut to cut out my designs. Next is the weeding process. Weeding consists of removing the parts of the vinyl that you do not want to stay in your design.
After that, you iron the shirt to get out any wrinkles, you don't want wrinkles in the finished vinyl design of course. And the final step is ironing on the design to the shirt.
Some designs are quick and some designs take some time to work through. I captured the weeding process and ironing process on the shirts I was making.
