Danielle's Homemade Products - Homemade Baby Wipes

Anyone who knows me will tell u that I make a lot of my own things...including laundry soap and baby wipes. As a bonus, I thought I would share the directions for making your own baby wipes. 1 large roll of paper towels, the biggest u can find in select a size ( I use bounty), cut in half 2 1/2 cups hot water 2 tablespoons baby oil 2 tablespoons baby wash Place your paper towel half in a container with a lid, cut side down. Heat your water until it's hot, I use me electric kettle to heat it while I'm cutting the roll and getting it in my container. In a large mixing glass, combine the water, baby oil, and baby wash and mix gently. Pour the hot water mixture over the paper towls, cover with lid, and let sit for 5 minutes upside down. After 5 minutes, remove lid and pull out the cardboard center of the paper towel tube. Once the wipes are cool, then are ready for use. Pull from the center where the cardboard was. For extra benefits, I add 10 drops of tea tree oil and 10 drops of lavender oil to the water mix before pouring it over the paper towels. Enjoy. Here is my finished homemade baby wipes (just made so they are still warm). I got my container from Walmart but any container with lid will work as long as it is as tall as the half roll. Mine isn't as wide as the roll but I am able to squash it in enough since keeping the center tube circular isn't an issue.
