I am sure that I have mentioned it before, but our dogs are assholes. This day was no different.
I was taking the dogs out for their morning walk, got a few steps down and then dragged down the rest of the stairs as the dogs tried to get to one of my neighbor's dog, who was coming up the lower set of steps. I didn't see the neighbor coming up the bottom steps until I was already going down them, and our dogs saw the other dog at the same time I did. I don't know if the dog looked like a fun playmate or not, but the end result was me belly flopping onto the concrete and then being dragged a short way before stopping.
A friend of Skye's was coming up the steps and saw the whole ungraceful flop and went to get Skye for me. Skye then took the dogs out behind the building to do their business. She brought the dogs back upstairs and then checked on me. My kiddo may have her issues, we may but heads at times, but she is a genuine person and loves deeply. She was worried and didn't want to go hang out with her friend, but I insisted she keep her plans. I was mainly sore, with some scrapes and a raw section of my arm, but more angry that I didn't catch myself than anything else.

See ya soon!
