I have been having some issues with both of my knees. They both make crunching noises when they are bent completely and ache like crazy a good portion of the time.
They started by trying cortisone shots. When that didn't work, they tried an injection that was jelly like. I can't remember the name of it, but there was a series of shots in each knee. They did one shot a week in each knee for three weeks in a row. This didn't help either. In fact, it made the ache worse making the joints feel swollen and difficult to bend.
Well, on November 21st, they went in and did an orthoscopic surgery of my left knee. They only do one at a time for these. I am still waiting on my follow up from the surgery to find out exactly what was done, but I was told a few things.
Apparently, there was something floating around in my knee. I'm not sure what at this point, but they did remove it. They also repaired damage to the cartilage under my knee cap. Once I know more, I will update the post.
